What is a Wages and Conditions
Wages and Conditions Guides
provide a summary of wage rates, allowances and other entitlements
such as hours of work and overtime for employees and employers covered
by modern awards. You can also find information on frequency of
payment provisions and a basic guide to penalty rate calculations
from 1 July 2010.
Most modern award wage rates,
penalties and loadings are calculated in reference to an employee’s
pre-modern award entitlements from 1 July. Wages and Conditions
Guides provide an easy way to view pre-calculated pay rates and
loadings. The Guides will also include any increases resulting from
Fair Work Australia’s annual wage review.
